AI agents are shopping. Give them a front door — not a blocked gate.
Agent Entry adds a verified entry to your store, built just for AI shopping agents. Approved agents browse and buy through their own lane, under rules you set — while bots and scrapers stay outside, and you see every visit.
The problem
Today, your store has two bad options
More shopping now starts with an AI agent working on a customer's behalf. Agents are also increasingly expected to identify themselves as non-human. Your storefront was built to tell humans and bots apart — it has no way to welcome a legitimate agent while keeping the door shut to everything else.
The locked door
Bot protection blocks agents along with scrapers. That's safe — and it quietly turns away customers who sent an agent to buy from you on purpose.
The open gate
Loosen the rules and you can't tell a verified shopping agent from a scraper, a price-harvester, or worse. No identity, no limits, no record.
A door of their own
Agents enter through a separate, verified lane that you control: you approve who gets in, set what they can do, and keep a complete record of every visit.
How it works
Set up in minutes. In control from the first visit.
Install the app
Add Agent Entry to your Shopify store. It starts in sandbox mode with live purchases off — you can explore everything before a single real order is possible.
Approve agents, set your rules
Choose which agents may enter, what they can buy, and how much they can spend. Nothing is approved by default — every agent waits for your yes.
Agents shop. You watch.
Approved agents browse and check out through the verified lane. Every action — allowed or denied — lands in your audit log, and the kill switch stops everything instantly.
Inside the agent lane
What happens on every visit, in order. If any check fails, the visit ends and the denial is logged.
The merchant console
This is the whole job: approve, limit, watch
Try the controls below — approve or block an agent, or flip the kill switch — and watch the audit log respond. It's a simplified preview of the console pilot stores use.
| Agent | Status | Spend cap | Actions |
|---|
Audit log — most recent first
Trust, by design
You stay in control — that's the product
Letting software shop at your store should never require faith. Agent Entry is built so every safeguard is yours to set, check, and reverse.
Per-agent approval
Every agent is individually approved or blocked by you. An agent you've never heard of can't buy anything until you say yes.
No passwords, no card data
Agent Entry never receives or stores your customers' passwords or payment card details. Agents act under their own verified credentials; payment stays inside Shopify's checkout.
Sandbox mode by default
New installs start with live purchases off. Test agents, rules, and orders safely; go live only when you're ready.
Spend caps & exclusions
Set a maximum order value per agent and exclude whole categories. An agent that hits a limit is stopped — and the attempt is logged.
A complete audit log
Every agent visit, order, and denial is recorded with who, what, and when — so nothing an agent does at your store is ever a mystery.
Kill switch & one-click uninstall
One switch halts all agent activity immediately. And if you ever want out entirely, uninstalling removes the app and its access in one click.
Who it's for
Built for stores first — anywhere agents will book or buy
Shopify & online stores
If you sell online, your customers' agents are already looking for a way in. Agent Entry's first plugin is for Shopify, and the same verified-entry approach fits any ecommerce storefront — large catalog or single Etsy-style shop.
Pilot stores get hands-on setup help and a direct line to the team while the product is young.
Hotels, travel & reservations
The next entries are for businesses that take bookings: hotels, tours, restaurants, and reservation sites. An agent that can identify itself can check availability and book through the proper channel — instead of being treated as a bot and blocked.
Run a hotel or reservation business and want in early? The pilot list is the place to start.
Join the pilot
Agent Entry is in private pilot: the Shopify app is built and in testing, and we're onboarding a small first group of stores. No App Store listing yet, no long contract — just early access, personal setup help, and a say in what gets built next.

Fair questions, straight answers
What exactly is an "AI agent" here?
Software that shops on a person's behalf — comparing products, building a cart, and checking out with that person's permission. Think of it as a very capable personal shopper that works for your customer, not for you.
Can't agents just use my normal website?
Often they try — and get blocked as bots, or scrape pages never meant for machines. Agent Entry gives them a proper channel: identified, rule-checked, and logged, instead of an arms race between your bot protection and their workarounds.
What if an agent does something I don't like?
Block that agent in one click, tighten its spend cap, or flip the kill switch to stop all agent activity at once. Because every action is logged, you'll also know exactly what happened.
Does Agent Entry see my customers' payment details?
No. Agent Entry never receives or stores customer passwords or payment card data. Checkout and payment stay inside Shopify's own systems.
What does it cost?
Pilot stores use Agent Entry free while we test together. Pricing for the public launch hasn't been set — pilot stores will hear it first, before anything changes.
How do I remove it?
Uninstall the app from your Shopify admin, like any other app. Access ends immediately, and you can ask us to delete your store's Agent Entry data — see the privacy summary.

What Agent Entry handles
To run the agent lane, the app works with your store's product catalog, inventory and pricing, and the orders agents place through the lane. For each agent visit it keeps an audit record: the agent's verified identity, what it requested, and whether the request was allowed.
What it never handles
- Customer passwords — never received, never stored.
- Payment card details — checkout and payment stay entirely within Shopify.
- Your customers' personal accounts or credentials of any kind.
How it's used
Only to operate your agent lane: verifying agents, enforcing the rules and limits you set, completing orders you allow, and showing you the audit log. Agent Entry does not sell store or customer data, and does not use it for advertising.
Control and deletion
Uninstalling the app ends its access to your store immediately. To have your store's Agent Entry records deleted, or to ask anything about this summary, contact us at the support address below.
